Springfield Armory Model 2020 Waypoint: Precision Meets Performance

The Model 2020 Waypoint represents Springfield Armory's commitment to building a premium American-made bolt-action hunting rifle that delivers custom-grade accuracy and reliability. This is a rifle engineered for the serious hunter who demands both precision and dependability in the field.

Accuracy and Engineering Excellence

Springfield Armory backs this rifle with a .75 MOA accuracy guarantee, ensuring consistent performance downrange. The foundation of this accuracy lies in several key design features:

• Fluted 416 stainless steel barrel (20") with 1:7.5 twist rate, finished in Desert Verde Cerakote for corrosion resistance
• Dual locking lugs on the fluted bolt that run smoothly down EDM raceways for repeatable, precise engagement
• Optimized extraction cam providing robust, reliable extraction in any hunting condition
• Dual cocking cams for smooth, effortless operation

Stock and Handling

The Waypoint's 100% carbon fiber hybrid profile stock delivers the light weight and rugged strength serious hunters demand. The M-Lok compatible design allows for customization and accessory mounting. At just 7 lbs 2 oz, this rifle won't wear you down during long days afield.

Trigger and Controls

The TriggerTech adjustable trigger (2.5–5 lbs) features the company's Frictionless Release Technology for a clean, predictable break. A low-profile, non-snag safety keeps the rifle ready without snagging on clothing or gear.
