XS Sights DXT2 Big Dot Night Sights for Sig P365
The DXT2 represents the evolution of XS Sights' legendary express sight concept, refined over 25 years of defensive shooting innovation. These night sights are engineered specifically for everyday carry pistols where split-second target acquisition can mean the difference between a safe resolution and a tragic outcome.
Design Philosophy
Modeled after African big game hunting sights, the DXT2 delivers a visible, combat-accurate flash sight picture when seconds count. The sights are intentionally oversized and highly visible—solving the challenge of aging eyes and deteriorating vision that affects many shooters. XS Sights recognized that in most gunfights, both victim and attacker are moving, and the victim is threat-focused. These sights cut through that stress.
Sight Picture and Visibility
The dot-the-"i" sight picture uses a tritium dot in the front and a tritium bar in the rear, preventing confusion between front and rear sights in high-stress situations. The front sight features a proprietary photoluminescent Glow Dot that absorbs ambient light and glows in low-light environments. The convex dot's additional surface area increases light absorption, intensifying the charge of the Glow Dot.
Front Sight: Yellow outline with tritium center dot (0.188" width)
Rear Sight: White outline with tritium center bar
Rear Design: Shallow V profile with low-profile ledge for one-handed slide manipulations
Performance Characteristics
- Daylight: The yellow front sight delivers superior visibility in bright conditions
- Low Light: The Glow Dot glows brighter in darkness, complemented by tritium for true night capability
- Field of View: The shallow V rear sight provides a wide, unobstructed sight picture
Construction and Durability
CNC machined from durable steel, these sights are built to withstand the demands of defensive carry. The design fits standard holster options, ensuring compatibility with your existing gear.
