XS Sights DXT2 Big Dot Night Sights for Glock 42 & 43

XS DXT2 Big Dot Night Sights: Combat-Proven Defensive Optics

The DXT2 Big Dot Night Sights represent over 25 years of defensive sight engineering, rooted in the express sight concept that originated in African big game hunting. These sights are purpose-built for the realities of armed self-defense—when seconds count and stress narrows your focus.

Why Big Dots Work

Under stress, shooters naturally focus downrange on the threat. The DXT2's oversized front sight dot (0.188" wide) remains visible and intuitive without requiring you to shift your visual attention. The high-contrast yellow front sight excels in daylight, while the proprietary photoluminescent Glow Dot absorbs ambient light and glows reliably in low-light conditions. The convex shape of the dot increases surface area for maximum light absorption and charging.

Sight Design

• Front Sight: Yellow tritium dot with photoluminescent Glow Dot technology
• Rear Sight: Low-profile V-notch with white outline and tritium center bar
• Sight Picture: Simple dot-the-"i" configuration prevents confusion during high-stress situations
• Rear Ledge: Allows one-handed slide manipulation for emergency reloads

Practical Advantages

The shallow V-notch rear sight provides an unobstructed view of the front sight and a wider field of view—critical when your threat focus is downrange. The low-profile design fits standard holsters without modification. These sights solve visibility challenges from aging eyes to changing light conditions, making them ideal for defensive carry across all age groups and skill levels.
