Winchester XPR Sporter: Precision Meets Tradition
The XPR Sporter represents Winchester's commitment to delivering reliable, accurate bolt-action rifles for hunters and shooters who demand performance without compromise.
Barrel & Accuracy
The heart of this rifle is its 24-inch chromoly steel barrel, precisely button-rifled to deliver consistent accuracy across a wide range of bullet weights and types. The barrel is completely free-floating—a critical feature that eliminates pressure points that rob accuracy. This design philosophy ensures your rifle performs at its best, shot after shot.
Action & Reliability
A drilled and tapped chromoly steel receiver provides a solid foundation for mounting optics and accessories. The detachable single-stack box magazine offers convenient reloading and field maintenance. The 6.8 Western cartridge provides modern ballistics in a proven platform.
Ergonomics & Comfort
Stock & Handling:
- Close-grained Grade I walnut stock with crisp checkering on the pistol grip and fore-end
- Flattened fore-end profile improves stability when shooting from sandbags or a bench rest
- Inflex Technology recoil pad directs energy down and away from your cheek, reducing felt recoil
Finish:
- Perma-Cote matte black metal surfaces minimize glare and prevent game-spooking reflections
- Corrosion-resistant protection for field use
The XPR Sporter is a rifle built for those who understand that quality construction and attention to detail separate good rifles from great ones.
