Winchester XPR Compact Rifle System

The Winchester XPR represents a modern approach to bolt-action hunting rifles, combining proven mechanical principles with contemporary features that appeal to both seasoned hunters and those new to rifle shooting.

Trigger and Safety

The heart of the XPR is Winchester's M.O.A. Trigger System. All internal components are constructed from polished and hardened carbon steel with a blued finish for durability and corrosion resistance. The two-position safety operates conveniently with your thumb, while the bolt release button—located just forward of the safety—allows you to cycle unfired cartridges without disengaging the safety. A cocking indicator on the bolt shroud provides both tactile and visual confirmation of the rifle's ready state.

Bolt and Receiver

The robust bolt is crafted from chromoly steel barstock and through-hardened during heat treatment. Its three front locking lugs and short 60-degree lift improve scope clearance during cycling. A nickel Teflon coating ensures smooth operation and corrosion resistance. The drilled and tapped chromoly steel receiver accepts standard scope bases and rings.

Barrel and Accuracy

The precisely button-rifled chromoly steel barrel delivers outstanding accuracy across a wide variety of bullet weights and types. The free-floating design eliminates pressure points that can degrade accuracy.

Stock and Magazine

The synthetic stock features Inflex Technology recoil pad for comfortable shooting. The one-piece trigger guard and magazine frame design provides a generous opening for gloved operation. The detachable single-stack box magazine simplifies loading and unloading.
