Beretta A400 Xtreme Plus 20-Gauge Semiauto Shotgun

Beretta A400 Xtreme Plus: Purpose-Built for Hunters and Shooters

The Beretta A400 Xtreme Plus is a semiautomatic shotgun engineered for upland hunting, waterfowl pursuits, and clay target shooting. This is a serious tool for serious shooters who demand reliability, speed, and comfort in the field.

Performance and Handling

Blink Technology sets this shotgun apart. The A400 cycles 36 percent faster than conventional semiauto designs, giving you quick follow-up shots when they matter most. The action is smooth and reliable, with built-in Picatinny rails for mounting optics or accessories.

The 28-inch barrel features a step rib with integral mid-bead and fiber optic front bead, making target acquisition intuitive. Lengthened forcing cones promote consistent patterns across all hunting loads.

Barrel and Choke System

The Steelium Plus barrel delivers superior patterning from all hunting ammunition while providing additional recoil mitigation. The OptimaBore HP design resists water, powder, sand, and salt spray—critical for hunters working harsh environments. Aqua Technology coating provides additional protection against the elements.

The shotgun ships with five black extended Optima HP choke tubes, giving you flexibility to match your hunting situation.

Comfort and Control

Recoil management is paramount. The synthetic stock combines Beretta's Kick-Off system with an ultra-soft Micro-Core butt pad. The stock is engineered to recoil parallel to your cheek mount, reducing felt recoil significantly. A soft comb further cushions impact to your face.

Practical features include an enlarged loading port, extended charging handle, and extended bolt release—all designed for faster, more intuitive operation in the field.

Finish and Aesthetics

The Gore Optifade Timber finish on stock and receiver provides effective camouflage in natural hunting environments while protecting the shotgun's surfaces.
