Winchester Xpert 22 LR Bolt-Action Rifle 18"

Winchester Xpert 22 LR Bolt-Action Rifle

Winchester has engineered the Xpert to deliver accuracy, reliability, and value in a lightweight rimfire platform. This bolt-action rifle represents a significant step forward in modern rimfire design, combining proven Winchester engineering with innovative features that appeal to both newcomers and experienced shooters.

Trigger and Accuracy

The standout feature is the Rimfire M.O.A. Trigger—a three-lever design borrowed from Winchester's centerfire rifles. This trigger delivers:

• Zero creep
• Zero take-up
• Zero over-travel
• A glass-breaking light pull

The barrel is precision button-rifled with a recessed target-style crown and semi-match Bentz chamber. A hemispherical firing pin ensures reliable ignition with all rimfire ammunition.

Handling and Control

Winchester designed the Xpert with shooters in mind:

• Extended bolt handle for easier operation
• Ambidextrous magazine releases (dual locations) that deliver the magazine into your hand
• Safety positioned at the rear of the receiver for intuitive reach
• Steep grip angle that improves finger-to-trigger reach

Sights and Mounting

The rifle ships with adjustable rear and blade front sights. The steel receiver is drilled and tapped for scope mounts, giving you flexibility to add optics as your shooting evolves.

Magazine and Compatibility

The Xpert uses a 10-round rotary polymer magazine and accepts standard 10/22-pattern magazines, ensuring you have ammunition feeding options and aftermarket support.

Lightweight Design

At just 4.5 pounds, the Xpert is easy to aim and carry. The tough polymer stock keeps weight down while remaining durable. Optional accessories include a length-of-pull spacer and cheek riser for customization.

The Bottom Line

Whether you're shooting at the range or hunting small game, the Xpert delivers Winchester quality at a price that leaves room in your budget for optics and ammunition.
