Beretta A400 Xtreme Plus 20-Gauge Semiauto Shotgun

Beretta A400 Xtreme Plus: Purpose-Built Performance

The Beretta A400 Xtreme Plus represents the pinnacle of modern semiautomatic shotgun design. Whether you're pursuing upland game, working waterfowl, or honing your skills at the range, this 20-gauge delivers the speed and reliability that serious shooters demand.

Speed and Reliability

Blink Technology cycles 36 percent faster than conventional semiauto actions, giving you rapid follow-up shots when it matters most. The enlarged loading port and extended charging handle make operation intuitive and efficient, even in cold or wet conditions.

Recoil Management

The A400 Xtreme Plus employs multiple recoil-reduction strategies:

• Kick-Off System: Integrated into the synthetic stock for measurable recoil reduction
• Micro-Core Butt Pad: Ultra-soft material that absorbs impact while maintaining a secure fit
• Soft Comb: Reduces felt recoil at the cheek for more comfortable shooting
• Parallel Recoil Design: Stock geometry directs recoil straight back, minimizing muzzle rise

Superior Barrel Technology

The Steelium Plus barrel delivers exceptional patterning across all hunting loads while contributing to further recoil mitigation. The OptimaBore HP design features lengthened forcing cones for consistent patterns and reduced pellet deformation. A step rib with integral mid-bead and fiber optic front bead aids target acquisition in variable light.

Weather Resistance

Aqua Technology protective coating shields the action and barrel from water, powder residue, sand, and salt spray—essential for hunters working harsh environments. The Gore Optifade Marsh finish provides both concealment and durability.

Practical Features

• 28" barrel with ventilated rib
• Five black extended Optima HP choke tubes for load flexibility
• Built-in Picatinny rails for optics mounting
• Extended bolt release for gloved operation
• 3" chamber with 3+1 capacity

The A400 Xtreme Plus is engineered for shooters who refuse compromise between performance and comfort.
