Break-In Period

Glock magazines, particularly when new, may require a break-in period. The spring tension is deliberately firm to ensure long-term reliability. You may find that the final round is difficult to load initially. To expedite the break-in process:

• Load the magazine with all but the last round
• Allow it to sit for several days to allow the spring to compress
• Cycle the magazine repeatedly from full to empty
• After this conditioning period, the magazine will load and function smoothly

This is normal and does not indicate a defect. The break-in period ensures your magazine will perform reliably for years of use.
