Kel-Tec RDB20GRN Bullpup Rifle 5.56mm

The Kel-Tec RDB: A New Standard in Bullpup Design

The RDB—Rifle Downward-ejecting Bullpup—represents a genuine departure from conventional bullpup thinking. By routing spent cases downward rather than to the side, Kel-Tec has solved one of the platform's most persistent problems: brass deflection and the complications it creates for left-handed shooters.

Key Features

• Fully Ambidextrous Operation: Reversible charging handle, intuitive safety, and patented downward-ejection system work equally well for right- and left-handed shooters
• Compact Yet Capable: 30.6 inches overall length with a full 20-inch barrel delivers genuine 5.56mm ballistics in a package that handles like a carbine
• Practical Ergonomics: M-LOK handguard for modern accessory mounting; collapsible stock for fit adjustment; pencil-profile barrel keeps weight manageable at 7.1 pounds
• Magazine Compatibility: Accepts the included 20-round magazine or any standard AR-15 compatible magazine
• Shooter-Friendly Specs: 4-pound trigger pull, 1:7-inch twist rate, and 1/2x28 muzzle threads for suppressors or brakes

Build Quality

The RDB features a high-impact resistant Zytel forend with integrated Picatinny rail on the underside. The black polymer stock and green grip provide both durability and visual distinction. This is a rifle engineered for real-world use, not compromise.

Why the RDB Matters

Bullpups have always offered compact size, but the RDB delivers that advantage without sacrificing the shooter experience. Whether you're new to rifles or a seasoned competitor, the ambidextrous design and downward ejection make this one worth serious consideration.
