The Thompson Center Encore ProHunter Katahdin represents the pinnacle of single-shot rifle design, offering shooters the flexibility to pursue virtually any game animal with a single firearm platform.

Key Features

• Caliber: 300 Blackout—an excellent choice for hunting and tactical applications
• Barrel: 20-inch fluted stainless steel construction for reduced weight and improved heat dissipation
• Muzzle: Threaded 5/8-24 for suppressors or muzzle devices
• Twist Rate: 1:8 for optimal bullet stabilization across a wide range of projectile weights
• Finish: Stainless steel for superior corrosion resistance in all weather conditions

Why the Encore System?

The Encore platform's greatest strength lies in its interchangeable barrel system. A single receiver accommodates rifle, shotgun, and muzzleloader barrels in numerous calibers. This means you can configure your rifle for whitetail hunting, then swap to a different caliber for elk or varmint work—all with one firearm.

The 300 Blackout's subsonic capability, combined with the threaded barrel, makes this configuration ideal for suppressed shooting. The fluted barrel reduces overall weight without sacrificing rigidity, making it a practical choice for hunters who cover significant ground.

This is a serious tool for serious shooters.
