Why This Barrel Matters

The 45-70 Govt is a time-tested cartridge that has taken everything from elk to moose across North America. The 26-inch barrel maximizes velocity while remaining manageable in the field. Stainless steel construction ensures durability in harsh conditions, while the fluted design keeps weight reasonable for a rifle of this capability.

The threaded muzzle opens possibilities for suppressors or muzzle devices, giving you options for how you want to configure your rifle. This barrel maintains the Encore system's core strength: the ability to swap calibers and configurations based on your hunting needs.

Compatibility

This barrel is designed for Thompson Center Encore rifle frames and requires the appropriate frame to function as a complete rifle.
