Construction & Materials
Receiver: Hard anodized 6061 aluminum in Gun Metal Gray provides durability and corrosion resistance while keeping weight minimal at just 14.25 oz complete.
Bolt System: The stainless steel bolt features dual symmetrical recoil springs and guide rods with a lightweight "wasp" firing pin. Top bolt flutes distribute fouling effectively, while the dual guide rod system ensures smooth, consistent cycling.
Buffer: A polymer bolt buffer reduces noise and mitigates excessive bolt wear—important for shooters who value hearing protection and long-term reliability.
Ergonomics & Ambidextrous Design
The X-Ring VR Gen2 accommodates all shooters and shooting styles with true ambidextrous controls. The charging handle positions work equally well for right- and left-handed shooters, and interchangeable charging handles allow you to customize your setup.
Optics & Rail System
The modular picatinny rail system is the heart of this receiver's flexibility. The standard 10 MOA rail comes included, but you can swap in alternatives:
- 0 MOA (cowitness)
- 10 MOA (standard, included)
- 20 MOA, 30 MOA, or 40 MOA (standard length or long)

Maintenance & Access
A rear cleaning port provides access for routine maintenance without removing the barrel. The enlarged ejection port and beveled bolt improve feeding and ejection reliability. A dust cover for the left ejection port is included.
