Why Choose the 856
This revolver excels in scenarios where simplicity and reliability matter most. The 2" barrel strikes a balance between concealability and shootability—short enough for discrete carry, long enough to deliver accurate fire at defensive distances. The double/single action trigger allows you to fire the first shot with a longer, more deliberate trigger press, then transition to faster single-action shots if needed.
The removable front sight is a practical touch, allowing you to configure the revolver for your specific carry method without permanent modifications.
Whether you're building your first defensive firearm or adding to an established collection, the Taurus 856 offers honest, no-nonsense performance at a reasonable price point.
