Hawke Vantage IR 3-9x40 Rimfire Scope .22 Subsonic

Hawke Vantage IR 3-9x40 Rimfire Riflescope

The Hawke Vantage IR is a purpose-built rimfire scope engineered specifically for .22 LR subsonic shooters who demand precision at practical distances.

Key Features

• Caliber-Specific Design: Bullet drop compensation reticle calculated exclusively for .22 LR subsonic ammunition (38-40 grain at 1040-1090 fps)
• Illuminated Reticle: Red and green illumination provides clear aim points in all lighting conditions
• Practical Magnification: 3-9x magnification covers close-range and mid-distance shooting scenarios
• 1-inch Tube: Standard mounting diameter compatible with most rimfire platforms
• Distance Markings: Reticle incorporates etched distance references visible at maximum magnification

Zeroing and Accuracy

Zero the scope at 50 yards on 9x magnification. The reticle provides accurate aim points in 25-yard increments out to 200 yards, eliminating guesswork for holdover adjustments. For metric users, a 50-meter zero is also available with correct aim points at 7.9x magnification.

Ideal Applications

This scope excels for small game hunting, target shooting, and training with subsonic .22 LR ammunition. The illuminated reticle ensures visibility in low-light conditions without requiring battery-dependent electronics for basic functionality.

Note: Optimal performance is achieved with .22 LR subsonic loads. Standard velocity ammunition may require different hold-over calculations.
