Hawke Vantage IR 4-12x40 Rimfire Scope

Hawke Vantage IR Rimfire Riflescope

The Hawke Vantage IR is purpose-built for rimfire hunters and target shooters who demand precision optics tailored to .22 WMR ballistics. This scope represents a thoughtful approach to rimfire accuracy—one that acknowledges the unique trajectory characteristics of magnum rimfire ammunition.

Key Features

• Caliber-Specific Design: The reticle is engineered exclusively for .22 WMR, with bullet drop compensation calculated for this cartridge's ballistic profile
• Illuminated Reticle: Red and green illumination options ensure visibility in varying light conditions, from early morning to late afternoon shooting
• Precise Aiming Points: Zero at 12x magnification at 100 yards; the BDC reticle provides accurate aim points in 25-yard increments out to 325 yards
• Flexible Ammunition Range: Optimized for 33-grain ammunition at approximately 2000 fps, but accurately calibrates for loads between 30-40 grains at 1875-2200 fps
• Metric Capability: Can be zeroed at 100 meters with correct aim points when magnification is set to 10.1x
• 1-Inch Tube: Standard mounting diameter compatible with most rimfire rifles
• Distance Markings: Etched distances in the reticle field of view, visible at maximum magnification for reference

Performance

This scope excels where precision matters—whether you're hunting small game at extended range or competing in rimfire accuracy events. The bullet drop compensating reticle removes guesswork from holdover calculations, allowing you to focus on shot placement. The illuminated aiming points function reliably across lighting conditions without requiring batteries for basic use.

Ideal For

Rimfire hunters, target shooters, and anyone seeking optics engineered specifically for .22 WMR ballistics rather than adapted from centerfire designs.
