Ruger American Gen II Prairie in .308 Winchester features a 20" spiral-fluted, threaded bronze barrel with adjustable Marksman trigger, black splatter synthetic stock with adjustable length of pull, and Picatinny rail for optics.
The Ruger American Gen II Prairie represents a refined approach to the modern hunting rifle. This .308 Winchester delivers the accuracy and reliability that have made the American line a favorite among shooters of all experience levels.
The 20-inch medium-contour barrel features professional Cerakote coating in smoked bronze for durability and low maintenance. Shallow spiral flutes increase surface area for better cooling during extended shooting sessions. The barrel is threaded with a factory-installed thread protector, allowing for easy suppressor or muzzle brake installation. A factory-installed radial port muzzle brake helps manage recoil.
The one-piece bolt is CNC machined from stainless steel with the familiar three-lug design and 70-degree throw, providing ample scope clearance and smooth operation. The oversized bolt handle features a 5/16"-24 thread pattern for easy replacement.
The Ruger Marksman Adjustable trigger offers a crisp release with user-adjustable pull weight between 3 and 5 pounds. The intuitive three-position tang safety locks the bolt while allowing the rifle to be loaded with the safety engaged.
The black splatter-finished synthetic stock provides excellent grip without sharp edges. An installed spacer allows length of pull adjustment from 13.75" to 12". The low comb improves sight alignment when using magnified optics. A soft rubber recoil pad with progressive collapse technology reduces felt recoil.
Patented Power Bedding integral bedding block system positively locates the receiver and free-floats the barrel for outstanding accuracy. A factory-installed one-piece Picatinny scope base is ready for your optics.
