Why It Matters
Friction calls—whether box calls, slate calls, or similar designs—rely on the right surface texture to produce authentic vocalizations. Over time, your call's striking surfaces can become glazed or worn, dulling the sound. Regular application of quality chalk restores the friction needed for crisp, clear notes that will bring game in close.
The wax-free formula ensures you're adding texture without creating a slick buildup that would compromise your call's performance. Keep a set in your pack during hunting season and maintain your calls between outings for reliable results when it counts.
