Hunters Specialties Slingblade Turkey Box Call

The Slingblade Turkey Box Call: Simplicity Meets Performance

The Hunters Specialties Slingblade represents a thoughtful approach to turkey calling—one that prioritizes ease of use without sacrificing sound quality. This is a call designed for hunters who understand that mastering turkey vocalizations requires practice, but shouldn't require wrestling with complicated mechanics.

Construction and Design

The Slingblade is built from a solid billet of American Walnut, paired with an exotic Purple Heart lid. This isn't merely aesthetic; the wood selection directly influences the call's tonal characteristics. The single-sided design is the key to its fool-proof operation.

How It Works

Unlike traditional box calls with multiple striking surfaces, the Slingblade features one working side and an off side that is deliberately taller. This taller off side serves a critical function: it stops the paddle in the same position every time, eliminating the guesswork from your stroke. The operation is as straightforward as opening and closing a door—rhythm and cadence are all you need to master.

Sound Quality

Hand-tuned for consistent performance, the Slingblade produces authentic turkey vocalizations:

• Clucks for natural communication
• Cuts for aggressive calling
• Yelps for hens and young turkeys
• Purrs for contentment and feeding birds

The high-pitched sound carries well in the field and responds naturally to your technique.

Made in the USA

This call is manufactured domestically, reflecting a commitment to quality craftsmanship and supporting American production.
