While competitors offer simple rectangular blocks, Area 419 recognized a fundamental design flaw: standard magazines have angled bottoms, yet most extensions attach parallel to the magazine body. This misalignment works for small capacity increases but fails at higher round counts.

Capacity Increases
Expected round additions vary by magazine and cartridge:
- ARC 10-rounders: +4 to +5 rounds
- AICS & Accurate 10-round: +3 to +4 rounds
- AICS & Accurate 5-round: +2 to +3 rounds
- Accurate WSM 3 or 7-round: +3 rounds
Important Compatibility Note
These extensions are not compatible with Magpul or other polymer AI magazines, or with AI AW magazines featuring fixed or welded floorplates.
