Spyderco's first button-lock folder features a 3.27" 8Cr13MoV clip point blade, carbon fiber scales, ball bearing pivot, and reversible clip for left or right carry.
Designed by Eric Glesser, the ButtonUp represents Spyderco's first venture into manual-opening button-lock folders. This knife combines cutting-edge engineering with practical everyday carry features.
The 3.27" modified clip point blade is forged from 8Cr13MoV stainless steel and features a full-flat grind. This geometry delivers superior edge retention and structural strength—ideal for both utility tasks and general cutting work.
The lightweight handle employs a carbon fiber and G-10 laminate construction with an open-backed design for easy cleaning. Nested stainless steel microliners reinforce the pivot and lock areas, ensuring durability without excess weight.
The reversible hourglass clip accommodates both left- and right-side tip-up carry, allowing you to configure the knife for your preferred carry method. A lined lanyard tube at the butt enables easy attachment of fobs and lanyards for added security and accessibility.
