Lyman E-ZEE Pilot Case Trimmer for 7mm Remington Magnum
The Lyman E-ZEE Pilot represents a practical solution for the reloader who demands precision without unnecessary complexity. This trimmer addresses a fundamental requirement of handloading: preparing cases to exact specifications.
Key Features
- Dual-Mode Operation: Trim cases by hand for small batches or attach the included power adapter for high-volume reloading sessions
- Precision Engineering: Pre-set trim-to-length pilot ensures consistent case length across your entire batch
- Complete System: Includes case locking device, cutter head, trim-to-length pilot, and both hand and power-trimming adapters
- Caliber-Specific: Designed specifically for 7mm Remington Magnum ammunition
Why Case Trimming Matters
Consistent case length is essential for reliable ammunition performance. Cases stretch during firing and must be trimmed to specification before reloading. The E-ZEE Pilot's straightforward design makes this critical step accessible to both experienced reloaders and those new to handloading.
Practical Considerations
The included adapters provide flexibility—work at your own pace with hand trimming, or increase efficiency with power operation when preparing larger quantities. The case locking device secures your cases firmly, preventing movement during the trimming process and ensuring repeatable results.
