Manticore Nightbrake 26x1.5L Compensator
This compensator is engineered specifically for the unique 26x1.5 left-hand threaded muzzles found on Yugoslavian M92 and M85 Krinkov rifles, as well as PAP series pistols. It represents a thoughtful solution to the challenge of managing recoil and muzzle movement on these distinctive short-barreled platforms.
Design and Function
Port Configuration: Eighteen ports are distributed across the upper 270 degrees of the device. This strategic placement works to redirect expanding gases upward and to the sides, effectively counteracting muzzle rise during rapid fire.
Bore Clearance: The compensator safely accommodates projectiles up to .311" in diameter, providing adequate clearance for standard ammunition used in these platforms.
Construction
Material: Machined from 8620 steel, a material known for its durability and reliability in demanding applications.
Finish: Black oxide finish provides corrosion resistance and a professional appearance.
Practical Considerations
If you operate a Krinkov-pattern rifle or PAP pistol, this compensator offers measurable improvements in control and follow-up shot capability. The reduction in muzzle movement translates directly to faster target reacquisition and improved accuracy during rapid engagement.
