Break-In Period
New Glock magazines can require a brief break-in period. The spring tension is firm by design for long-term reliability. When first used, you may find the final round difficult to seat. This is normal. We recommend loading the magazine with eight rounds and allowing it to sit for several days to compress the spring naturally. Alternatively, cycle the magazine from full to empty multiple times to accelerate the break-in process. After this period, the magazine will function smoothly and reliably for years of service.
