Browning Citori CXT 12-Gauge Trap Shotgun 30"

The Browning Citori CXT: Versatility Meets Championship Performance

The Citori CXT represents the pinnacle of Browning's shotgun engineering—a gun built for shooters who refuse to compromise between trap and sporting clays disciplines. This is a serious tool for serious competitors.

Mechanical Excellence

The Citori CXT employs a transverse-mounted, full-width tapered locking bolt that engages a corresponding tapered recess in the rear barrel lugs. This design delivers the strength and reliability that separates championship guns from the rest. The hinge pin extends fully across the receiver for maximum structural integrity.

Key Features:

• 12-gauge, 3-inch chamber
• 30-inch ported barrels with ventilated rib
• Invector-Plus Midas choke system (Full, Modified, Improved Cylinder)
• Back-bore technology for reduced recoil and improved patterns
• Chrome-plated chambers resist wear from thousands of rounds
• Triple trigger system allows barrel selection on each shot
• Automatic ejectors for spent shells; elevate unfired rounds for easy removal

Stock and Handling

The Grade II/III American black walnut Monte Carlo stock features a gloss finish and 14¼-inch length of pull. Cut checkering at 18 lines per inch provides secure grip in all conditions. The Inflex 2 recoil pad (large) absorbs punishment while maintaining gun control. Overall length is 47 inches.

Sighting and Control

An ivory bead front sight aids target acquisition. The gold-plated trigger breaks cleanly and consistently. The barrel selector allows you to choose which barrel fires first—a critical advantage when moving between trap and sporting clays.

This is a gun that rewards skill and punishes complacency. The Citori CXT is built for shooters who understand that one quality gun, properly chosen, beats a cabinet full of compromises.
