Leupold VX-R Rifle Scope: Precision Optics for the Serious Shooter
The Leupold VX-R represents a thoughtful evolution in rifle scope design, combining proven optical principles with modern conveniences that enhance rather than complicate the shooting experience.
Optical Performance
At its core, this scope delivers what matters most: a bright, clear sight picture. The Index Matched Lens System with blackened lens edges works to minimize light diffusion, resulting in superior contrast and brightness compared to conventional designs. Whether you're hunting in dim timber or shooting across open country, the optical quality remains consistent.
FireDot Illuminated Reticle
The select FireDot reticle offers eight levels of intensity, allowing you to match the illumination to your lighting conditions. This flexibility proves invaluable whether you're shooting in bright sunlight, overcast skies, or low-light conditions.
Smart Battery Management
Leupold's motion-sensor technology represents genuine innovation. The reticle automatically deactivates after 5 minutes of inactivity, conserving battery life during long periods of glassing or waiting. The moment you move the scope, the illumination springs back to life—no switches to fiddle with, no batteries drained by forgotten illumination.
