Leupold VX-1 Rifle Scope: Proven Performance for Hunters and Marksmen

The VX-1 represents Leupold's commitment to delivering reliable optics at a sensible price point. This 4-12x40mm scope combines time-tested design with practical features that work in the field.

Optical Performance

Multicoat 4 Lens System — Leupold's proprietary lens coating technology maximizes light transmission while minimizing glint. You'll see a brighter, clearer image across all lighting conditions, from dawn to dusk.

3:1 Zoom Ratio — The 4-12x magnification range covers most hunting and target shooting scenarios. Low power for close work and moving targets; high power for precision shooting at distance.

Generous Eyebox — The forgiving eye relief and exit pupil design make this scope easy to shoot. You won't need to find the perfect head position to see a full, clear image.

Mechanical Reliability

1/4 MOA Click Adjustments — Windage and elevation turrets feature tactile, audible clicks for absolute repeatability. Each adjustment is precise and dependable over a lifetime of use.

One-Inch Maintube — Standard diameter tube ensures compatibility with virtually all modern scope rings and mounts.

6061-T6 Aircraft Aluminum — The scope body is machined from aircraft-grade aluminum for strength without excess weight.

Waterproof and Fogproof — Leupold's proprietary nitrogen fill process seals the optics against moisture and temperature extremes.

Field Ready

Fast Focus Eyepiece — The lockable eyepiece with low-profile lock ring lets you quickly achieve sharp reticle focus and lock it in place.

Included Lens Covers — Durable bikini-style covers protect your objective and eyepiece lenses from dirt and damage in storage or the field.

Custom Shop Serviceable — Leupold stands behind their products with factory service and support.

This is a blemished unit, which may have minor cosmetic imperfections but functions identically to new stock.
