Sierra BlitzKing .25 Caliber 90gr Rifle Bullets

Sierra BlitzKing .25 Caliber 90-Grain Boat Tail Bullets

Sierra's BlitzKing line represents a purposeful marriage of two design philosophies: the explosive terminal performance demanded by varmint hunters and the inherent accuracy of Sierra's renowned MatchKing bullets.

Design Features

These .25 caliber, 90-grain boat tail projectiles incorporate several key design elements:

• Proprietary polymer tip for consistent expansion and aerodynamic efficiency
• Thin jacket construction optimized for reliable expansion while maintaining structural integrity
• Boat tail profile for improved ballistic coefficient and downrange velocity retention
• 500-count box for serious varmint operations

Performance Characteristics

The 90-grain BlitzKing was developed specifically for longer-range varmint shooting, filling the gap between lighter 6mm and 20-caliber options. Ballistic performance varies with velocity:

• .388 BC at 3100 fps and above
• .375 BC between 2900-3100 fps
• .345 BC between 2400-2900 fps
• .330 BC at 2400 fps and below

Practical Application

These bullets excel in dedicated varmint cartridges like the .25-06 Remington and similar rounds. The combination of explosive expansion and aerodynamic efficiency makes them suitable for both close-range work and extended-distance shooting where wind deflection becomes a consideration.

Whether you're working prairie dogs, coyotes, or other varmints, the BlitzKing delivers the terminal performance and accuracy you expect from Sierra.
