Taurus RXP22: Modern Rimfire Reliability

The Taurus RXP22 represents a thoughtful approach to rimfire pistol design, combining practical features with genuine utility for both recreational shooters and those seeking an economical training platform.

Key Features

• Caliber & Capacity: 22 Long Rifle with 18-round magazine capacity
• Action: Dual-action/single-action trigger system for versatile shooting
• Finish: Olive Drab coating for durability and modern aesthetics
• Barrel: Threaded for suppressor or muzzle device attachment
• Ergonomics: Designed for comfortable handling across hand sizes

Why This Matters

The 22LR cartridge remains one of the most practical rounds for shooters developing fundamental skills. Low recoil and minimal report make this platform ideal for extended practice sessions without fatigue. The threaded barrel opens possibilities for sound suppression, making it an excellent choice for quiet range work or training environments where noise matters.

The DA/SA trigger system provides flexibility—double-action for the first shot when carried in condition two, or single-action operation once the hammer is cocked. This is a proven, reliable approach used in professional firearms for decades.

Practical Application

Whether you're introducing new shooters to handgun fundamentals, maintaining marksmanship skills, or simply enjoying affordable trigger time, the RXP22 delivers dependable performance in a modern package.
