The Taurus RXP22 represents a modern approach to rimfire pistol design, combining practical features with reliable performance. This is a firearm built for shooters who value versatility and value.
Key Features
- Caliber: 22 Long Rifle
- Capacity: 18+ rounds
- Action: Dual-action/single-action (DA/SA) trigger system
- Finish: Black slide with Olive Drab frame
- Barrel: Threaded for suppressor or muzzle device attachment
- Design: Modern polymer frame with steel slide
What Makes It Practical
The DA/SA trigger system offers flexibility—you can carry safely with the hammer down in double-action mode, or cock the hammer for a lighter single-action shot. The threaded barrel opens possibilities for sound suppression or other muzzle attachments, making this an excellent platform for both recreational shooting and training.
The 22LR cartridge provides low recoil and minimal noise, ideal for extended practice sessions or introducing new shooters to pistol fundamentals. With 18+ rounds on tap, you'll spend more time shooting and less time reloading magazines.
Reliability You Can Count On
Taurus has built a reputation for producing dependable firearms at accessible prices. The RXP22 continues that tradition with a design that prioritizes function and ease of use.
