Key Features

• Caliber: 22LR rimfire
• Capacity: 10-round magazine (California-compliant)
• Action: Double-action/single-action trigger system
• Finish: Flat Dark Earth, a modern neutral tone that resists glare and complements tactical or traditional setups
• Design: Compact frame suitable for shooters with smaller hands or those preferring a lightweight trainer

Why the RXP22 Matters

The 22LR cartridge remains one of the most cost-effective ways to develop marksmanship fundamentals. Low recoil and minimal noise make it ideal for practice sessions, introducing new shooters to handgun operation, or simply enjoying time at the range without fatigue.

Taurus has engineered the RXP22 with straightforward controls and reliable function. The double-action/single-action trigger provides flexibility—pull through the longer double-action stroke for safety, or cock the hammer for a crisp single-action break once you're ready to fire.

Practical Considerations

This is a working tool, not a defensive firearm. Use it to sharpen your fundamentals, teach others, or enjoy casual shooting. The Flat Dark Earth finish offers a contemporary aesthetic while providing practical durability for regular use.
