DPMS DR-15 Oracle II Complete Upper Receiver

The Oracle II represents a straightforward approach to AR-15 upper receiver assemblies—quality components, American manufacturing, and honest engineering without unnecessary complications.

Barrel and Gas System

The 16" barrel is chambered in 5.56 NATO with a 1:7 twist rate, suitable for a wide range of ammunition weights and applications. The M4 profile barrel features a nitride coating for corrosion resistance and durability. A carbine-length gas system keeps the action running reliably, while the low-profile gas block (.750" diameter) maintains a clean profile under the free-float rail.

Upper Receiver and Rail System

The forged 7075-T6 A3 upper receiver is hard coat anodized for protection and longevity. M4 feedramp cuts ensure reliable feeding across ammunition types. The 13.5" lightweight hex-profile M-LOK free-float rail provides mounting flexibility for optics, lights, and other accessories without affecting barrel harmonics.

Bolt Carrier Group

The mil-spec bolt carrier group features shot-peened Carpenter 158® steel construction. The gas key is secured with grade 8 fasteners and properly staked—a detail that separates quality builds from shortcuts. The charging handle is included.
