• Yelp: Slide the paddle across the body's lip in longer, successive strokes for the classic hen call
• Cluck: Pop the paddle off the body's lip with short, sharp strokes
• Cutting: Rapid, repeated clucks in fast bursts to create aggressive sounds
• Purr: Slowly slide the paddle with minimal downward pressure for contentment sounds
• Gobble: Wrap a rubber band around the paddle and box, then shake the call back and forth for gobble simulation

Why This Call Works

The friction-based design gives you complete control over tone, pitch, and volume. Whether you're calling across an open field or working turkeys at close range, you can adjust your technique to match the situation. Practice different paddle speeds and pressure levels to develop authentic calling sequences that respond to changing conditions and gobbler mood.

This is a call that grows with you—simple enough for beginners to produce convincing sounds immediately, yet sophisticated enough for experienced hunters to extract nuanced vocalizations that fool the wariest birds.
