Bergara Premium Barreled Action 7 PRC 24in #5.5

Bergara Premium Barreled Action: 7 PRC Platform

The Bergara Premium Barreled Action represents a complete, ready-to-build foundation for the serious long-range shooter. This is not a compromise—it's a purpose-built system designed from the ground up for accuracy and reliability.

Barrel Specifications

Caliber & Contour: 7 PRC in a No. 5.5 contour profile, carefully engineered to balance weight, stiffness, and thermal stability. The 24-inch length provides optimal velocity while maintaining practical handling characteristics.

Material & Finish: 416 stainless steel in raw finish. Stainless steel resists corrosion and maintains dimensional stability across temperature extremes—critical for consistent long-range performance.

Twist Rate: 1:8 twist optimized for modern, high-ballistic-coefficient projectiles. This twist rate stabilizes the latest generation of long-range ammunition without over-stabilizing lighter bullets.

Muzzle Threading: 5/8x24 thread pattern with included protector. This industry-standard thread pitch accepts virtually all modern muzzle brakes and suppressors.

Action & Mounting

The action features REM 700 scope mount pattern compatibility with 8-40 threading, ensuring secure, repeatable optic installation. This is the foundation upon which precision is built.
