Bergara Premium Barreled Action 300 PRC 26in #5.5

Bergara Premium Barreled Action: 300 PRC Long-Range Foundation

The Bergara Premium Barreled Action represents a serious commitment to precision rifle building. This is not a complete rifle—it's a precision-engineered foundation for the discerning shooter who demands control over every aspect of their build.

Barrel Specifications

The barrel is the heart of any precision rifle. Bergara has chambered this action in 300 PRC, a modern magnum cartridge designed specifically for extreme long-range work. The 26-inch No. 5.5 contour barrel is manufactured from 416 stainless steel, offering excellent corrosion resistance and heat management—critical factors when pushing high-velocity loads downrange.

The 1:9 twist rate is optimized for modern, high-ballistic-coefficient projectiles. This twist rate provides the stability needed for consistent accuracy with premium long-range ammunition while maintaining flexibility across a range of bullet weights.

Practical Features

• Threaded muzzle: 5/8x24 threading accepts industry-standard brakes and suppressors. Thread protector included.
• Weight: 5.8 pounds—a balanced platform that reduces fatigue during extended shooting sessions
• Finish: Raw stainless steel, ready for your preferred coating or left natural for a clean aesthetic
• Scope mounting: Compatible with Remington 700 scope mount patterns and 8-40 threading

The Builder's Advantage

This barreled action gives you complete control over stock selection, trigger installation, and final configuration. Bergara's commitment to quality ensures that your build will perform at the level your skill and ammunition deserve.
