Why This Rifle Works
The A22's aluminum receiver keeps weight manageable while maintaining rigidity. The thread-in headspace system—borrowed from Savage's centerfire lineup—ensures consistent chamber dimensions and reliability. The fluted barrel reduces weight without sacrificing the heavy profile needed for target work.
The thumbhole stock provides natural hand positioning and control. The grey laminate finish resists weather and handling marks. For shooters seeking a dedicated 22 WMR platform for target practice, small-game hunting, or varmint work, the A22 Target Thumbhole delivers accuracy and dependability at a reasonable price point.
