The Beretta A400 Xtreme Plus: Built for the Serious Shotgunner
The A400 Xtreme Plus represents Beretta's commitment to delivering a shotgun that performs equally well in the field or at the range. This semiauto platform is engineered for hunters and shooters who demand reliability, speed, and comfort.
Performance Features
Blink Technology sets this shotgun apart. It cycles 36 percent faster than conventional semiauto designs, giving you quicker follow-up shots when it matters most—whether you're pursuing upland game or waterfowl.
The Steelium Plus barrel is the heart of this gun. It patterns exceptionally well across all hunting loads while providing superior corrosion resistance. The barrel incorporates lengthened forcing cones and a step rib with integral mid-bead and fiber optic front sight for precise aiming.
Recoil Management
Beretta's Kick-Off system works in concert with an ultra-soft Micro-Core butt pad to minimize felt recoil. The stock is designed to recoil parallel to your cheek, reducing the jarring sensation that comes with heavy loads. A soft comb further cushions recoil at the cheek.
Practical Design
- Enlarged loading port and extended charging handle for faster reloads
- Extended bolt release for intuitive operation
- Aqua Technology protective coating resists water, sand, salt spray, and powder residue
- Built-in Picatinny rails for easy optics mounting
- 26-inch barrel with five extended Optima HP choke tubes
- Optifade Timber camouflage stock and receiver
- Weight: 7.4 pounds
