Savage Rascal FV-SR .22LR Youth Rifle, Pink

The Savage Rascal FV-SR: Built for Young Marksmen

The Savage Rascal FV-SR represents a thoughtful approach to introducing new shooters—particularly youth—to the fundamentals of marksmanship. This single-shot .22LR rifle strips away unnecessary complexity while retaining the features that build genuine shooting skills.

Design Philosophy

The Rascal FV-SR embodies sound rifle design principles scaled appropriately for smaller frames. The single-shot action enforces discipline: each round counts, and the shooter learns to make their shot matter. The rifle cocks by lifting the bolt and unloads without pulling the trigger—a safety feature that prevents accidental discharge during the learning process.

Key Features

• Heavy Barrel with Threaded Muzzle: The 16.125" carbon steel barrel is threaded (1/2-28) for suppressor compatibility and delivers inherent accuracy advantages. The extra mass dampens vibration and promotes consistency.
• Adjustable AccuTrigger: Savage's user-adjustable trigger system allows you to set break weight appropriate for the shooter's experience level and hand strength.
• Synthetic Stock: Durable, weather-resistant, and maintenance-free. The design accommodates growing shooters without the fragility of wood.
• Full-Size Rifle Features: Despite its youth-oriented dimensions, the Rascal includes a manual safety and proper rifle ergonomics that translate to centerfire rifles later.
• Practical Specifications: At 3.52 lbs and 31.5" overall length, the rifle remains manageable for younger shooters while maintaining a 16" sight radius for proper sight picture development.
