Precision Engineering
The Model 70 Extreme starts with a forged steel receiver machined from a solid block of steel. The flat bottom profile provides greater surface area for bedding, which is accomplished with two-part epoxy at the front and rear to eliminate shift during firing.
Trigger and Controls
The M.O.A. Trigger System represents the most precise three-lever trigger mechanism available, delivering the accuracy and reliability shooters demand. The famous three-position safety operates smoothly with your firing hand thumb, lifting the firing pin away from the sear for positive control. A blade-type ejector gives you full command when removing fired cases.
