Century Arms VSKA: American-Made AK-Pattern Reliability
The Century Arms VSKA represents a thoughtful re-engineering of the AK-pattern rifle, with particular attention paid to durability and reliability. This is not a rifle built to compromise—it's built to perform.
Superior Materials and Construction
The VSKA's critical components have been machined from S7 tool steel, a material prized in demanding applications for its shock resistance and compression strength. The bolt carrier, front trunnion, and feed ramp are all machined from billet S7 and specially heat-treated for maximum durability. S7 is the same material used in chisels and jackhammer tips—it's engineered to absorb punishment.
Additional quality components include:
- Carburized 4140 steel bolt for enhanced wear resistance
