Henry Big Boy Side Gate .45 Colt Lever Action

Henry Big Boy Side Gate .45 Colt Lever Action Rifle

The Henry Big Boy Side Gate represents a thoughtful evolution of the classic American lever action rifle. This rifle combines traditional aesthetics with practical modern conveniences, making it equally at home in the field or at the range.

Key Features

• Caliber & Capacity: .45 Colt with 10-round tube magazine capacity
• Barrel: 20-inch octagon barrel with blued finish
• Receiver: Color case hardened steel, drilled and tapped for scope mounting
• Sights: Semi-buckhorn rear sight and brass bead front sight
• Stock: American walnut with deep checkering for secure grip
• Action: Smooth lever action with side loading gate

Design Philosophy

The side loading gate is the defining feature of this rifle. Rather than forcing you to unload the entire tube magazine to top off your rounds, the gate allows you to add ammunition quickly and conveniently during shooting sessions. The removable tube magazine remains for safe, easy unloading when needed.

The deep checkering on the walnut furniture provides excellent purchase in all conditions, while the octagon barrel and case hardened receiver deliver that authentic rifle character Henry is known for.

Performance & Accuracy

The 20-inch barrel strikes an excellent balance between velocity and handling. The semi-buckhorn rear sight and brass bead front sight combination provides a classic sight picture proven effective at typical rifle distances. The drilled and tapped receiver accepts modern optics for shooters who prefer contemporary aiming solutions.

This is a rifle built for those who appreciate traditional lever action handling with the practical conveniences of modern design.
