The Henry Big Boy Side Gate: Classic Lever Action Innovation
The Henry Big Boy Side Gate represents the best of traditional lever-action design combined with modern convenience. This rifle gives you the flexibility of both a removable tube magazine for safe, easy unloading and a side-loading gate that lets you top off the magazine without removing it from the rifle.
Design and Handling
The large loop lever ensures smooth, reliable cycling even when wearing gloves or heavy clothing. American walnut furniture features intricate, deep checkering that provides a secure grip in all conditions. The rifle balances beautifully and handles like a true classic—because it is one.
Sighting and Accuracy
A semi-buckhorn rear sight with diamond insert and brass bead front sight come standard. The rifle is drilled and tapped for scope mounting, giving you the option to upgrade your sighting system. The 20-inch round blued barrel delivers the accuracy you expect from Henry's proven design.
