Barrel and Action
The heart of this rifle is its cold hammer-forged, medium contour barrel featuring deep spiral flutes that reduce muzzle weight while maintaining barrel stiffness. The 22-inch threaded barrel (5/8x24) accepts standard suppressors and muzzle devices, and comes factory-equipped with a radial port muzzle brake to manage recoil. The one-piece bolt is CNC machined from stainless steel with Ruger's familiar three-lug design and a 70-degree throw that provides excellent scope clearance and smooth operation.
Trigger and Safety
The Ruger Marksman Adjustable trigger allows you to customize pull weight between 3 and 5 pounds—a feature that lets you dial in the exact feel you prefer. The three-position tang safety is intuitive and locks the bolt to prevent inadvertent opening while allowing the rifle to be loaded with the safety engaged.
