Barrel and Action

The heart of this rifle is its cold hammer-forged, medium-contour barrel featuring deep spiral flutes that reduce muzzle weight while maintaining rigidity and accuracy. The threaded 5/8x24 barrel accepts standard suppressors and muzzle devices. A factory-installed radial port muzzle brake manages recoil effectively.

The one-piece bolt is CNC machined from stainless steel with Ruger's familiar three-lug design and a 70-degree throw that provides excellent scope clearance. The oversized bolt handle facilitates smooth, positive manipulation even when wearing gloves.

Trigger and Safety

The Ruger Marksman Adjustable trigger delivers a crisp release with user-adjustable pull weight between 3 and 5 pounds—allowing you to tune the rifle to your preference. The three-position tang safety locks the bolt while permitting the rifle to be loaded with the safety engaged.

Stock and Ergonomics

The green splatter-finished synthetic stock provides excellent grip texture without sharp edges. An installed spacer system allows length-of-pull adjustment from 13.75 inches down to 12 inches. The low comb improves sight picture with magnified optics while remaining removable for low-mounted sights.

A soft rubber recoil pad with generous heel radius promotes comfortable shouldering and progressive collapse to manage felt recoil.

Accuracy Features

Patented Power Bedding integral bedding block system positively locates the receiver while free-floating the barrel for outstanding accuracy. A factory-installed one-piece Picatinny scope base is ready for your optics.
