The Ruger Precision Custom represents a serious platform for long-range shooters who demand accuracy without compromise. Built on a proven design, this rifle combines precision engineering with practical features that matter downrange.

Barrel and Action

The 26" stainless steel barrel features a heavy contour and comes threaded for suppressor or muzzle brake compatibility. The barrel is user-replaceable by a competent gunsmith using standard headspace gauges, allowing you to reconfigure the rifle as your needs evolve. The receiver wears a 20 MOA Picatinny rail secured with #8-40 screws, providing ample elevation adjustment for extended-range work.

Trigger and Controls

A TriggerTech Two Stage trigger with Frictionless Release Technology delivers clean, predictable breaks essential for precision shooting. The ambidextrous manual safety ensures positive control regardless of your shooting hand.

Stock and Ergonomics

The adjustable folding buttstock allows you to dial in length-of-pull, cheek rest height, and horizontal position to fit your body and shooting style. The Magpul MOE-K2+ grip provides a more vertical grip angle in a full-sized design with rubber overmolding for positive control. Optional storage cores let you stow gear within the grip itself.

Handguard and Accessories

The target-style flat-bottom handguard improves stability on bags and benches. Eight modular forend weights help manage recoil and aid predictable handling. Two QD cup mounts and M-LOK attachment slots provide flexibility for optics, lights, and accessories. The integral 1.50" dovetail on the bottom is compatible with RRS S.O.A.R. and similar quick-detach systems.
