Sierra MatchKing .257 Caliber Rifle Bullets

Sierra's MatchKing line represents the pinnacle of match-grade bullet design, and these .257 caliber 131-grain projectiles are no exception. Built for shooters who demand accuracy at distance, these bullets combine proven aerodynamic design with consistent construction.

Key Features

• Weight: 131 grains
• Design: Hollow point boat tail (HPBT)
• Quantity: 250 bullets per box

Performance Characteristics

The hollow point boat tail design delivers several advantages. The boat tail reduces drag and improves ballistic coefficient, extending effective range and minimizing wind drift. The hollow point cavity ensures consistent expansion characteristics when used in appropriate hunting applications.

Sierra's manufacturing process maintains tight tolerances on weight and dimensions, which translates to superior consistency shot-to-shot. This consistency is what separates match-grade ammunition components from standard offerings.

Ideal For

These bullets excel in precision rifle competition, long-range target shooting, and handloading for .25 caliber cartridges such as the .25-06 Remington. Whether you're fine-tuning loads for a benchrest competition or developing ammunition for extended-range hunting, Sierra MatchKing bullets provide the precision foundation you need.
