Ruger American Rifle Generation II Patrol in .300 Win Mag features a 20" cold hammer-forged threaded bull barrel with Graphite Black Cerakote finish, black splatter synthetic stock, adjustable trigger, and Picatinny rail.
The Patrol model represents Ruger's commitment to delivering a rifle that performs equally well at the range and in the field. Built on the proven American Rifle Generation II platform, this .300 Win Mag delivers the power and accuracy serious shooters demand.
The 20-inch bull contour barrel is cold hammer-forged, a process that ensures ultra-precise rifling and exceptional longevity. The Graphite Black Cerakote finish on the barrel, receiver, and bolt handle provides a durable, low-maintenance coating that resists corrosion and wear. The threaded muzzle accepts suppressors and other muzzle devices, with a color-matched thread protector included.
Power Bedding integral bedding block system positively locates the receiver while free-floating the barrel—a proven technique for outstanding accuracy. The Ruger Marksman Adjustable trigger offers a crisp release with user-adjustable pull weight between 3 and 5 pounds, allowing you to tune the rifle to your preference.
The one-piece CNC-machined stainless steel bolt features the familiar three-lug design with a 70-degree throw, providing ample scope clearance and smooth operation. An oversized bolt handle ensures positive manipulation in any condition.
The black splatter-finished synthetic stock provides excellent grip without being sharp or abrasive. A soft rubber recoil pad with large heel radius improves shouldering geometry and progressively collapses to reduce felt recoil. Length of pull adjusts from 12 to 13.75 inches by removing spacers, with additional options available for a refined fit.
The installed low comb improves sight alignment with magnified optics but can be removed for low-mounted sights. Additional comb options are available for further customization.
The intuitive three-position tang safety locks the bolt, preventing inadvertent opening while allowing the rifle to be loaded with the safety engaged—a practical feature for field use.
The bull contour barrel increases weight for better stability and reduced felt recoil during extended shooting sessions. An optional stock weight kit (up to 1.6 pounds) is available to further improve balance when using heavier muzzle devices.
