Winchester Xpert Thumbhole Target 22 WMR

Winchester Xpert Thumbhole Target Rifle

The Winchester Xpert represents a thoughtful approach to rimfire rifle design, combining practical features with the ergonomic advantages of a thumbhole stock. This is a rifle built for shooters who take their marksmanship seriously.

Key Features

• Caliber: 22 Winchester Magnum Rimfire (22 WMR) — a potent rimfire round with excellent velocity and energy retention
• Barrel: 18-inch barrel optimized for accuracy and handling
• Stock: Thumbhole target stock in brown laminate, providing superior grip control and consistent cheek weld for precision shooting
• Action: Single-shot design emphasizing accuracy over rapid fire
• Sights: Drilled and tapped for scope mounting; open sights available

Why This Rifle Works

The thumbhole stock design is not mere fashion—it's functional. The thumbhole provides positive hand positioning that reduces fatigue during extended shooting sessions and promotes consistent trigger control. The brown laminate stock resists weather and handling wear while maintaining its appearance.

The 22 WMR cartridge delivers significantly more power than standard 22 Long Rifle ammunition, making this rifle suitable for small game hunting and target work at distances where rimfire rifles truly excel.

Ideal For

• Target shooters developing fundamental skills
• Small game hunters seeking a reliable, accurate platform
• Shooters who appreciate straightforward, honest rifle design

This is a rifle that rewards good technique and careful shooting.
