Spyderco Mantra 4 G-10 3.34" Drop Point Folding Knife
Refined front-flipper folding knife with 3.34" drop point blade in 8Cr13MoV stainless steel. Black G-10 handle, liner lock, and ball bearing action for smooth deployment.
The Mantra 4: Refined Simplicity in a Folding Knife
Spyderco's Mantra 4 represents the fourth evolution of a knife line that has earned respect among discerning users. This is a study in refined minimalism—a blade that does what it's supposed to do without unnecessary complications.
Design and Operation
The front-flipper mechanism is the heart of this knife. A small tang protrudes above the spine when closed, presenting a textured surface for your index finger. One deliberate stroke deploys the blade with authority and reliability. This is not a gimmick; it works because Spyderco engineered it to work.
The Blade
The 3.34-inch drop point blade is full-flat-ground from 8Cr13MoV stainless steel—a proven performer that balances edge retention with ease of maintenance. The blade features Spyderco's signature Round Hole, functional and true to the brand's design language.
Mechanical Excellence
Ball bearing washers support the blade, delivering the smooth action you expect from quality cutlery. The liner lock provides reliable blade security without complexity.
Handle and Carry
Black G-10 scales offer durability and grip in all conditions. At 7.5 inches overall length, the Mantra 4 is a capable everyday carry that doesn't demand attention—until you need it.
