Kicks Gobblin' Thunder 12GA Choke Tube .670

Premium Turkey Choke Engineering

The Gobblin' Thunder represents the pinnacle of turkey choke design, combining proven performance with thoughtful engineering that makes a real difference in the field.

Conical Parallel Design

Unlike conventional chokes, the Gobblin' Thunder features a conical parallel design that pairs a traditional cone of constriction with a parallel section roughly 1" in length. This parallel zone maintains constant constriction, delivering superior pattern consistency that separates this choke from standard offerings.

Advanced Port Technology

The choke's directional diagonal ports are angled at 135 degrees away from the shooter, which accomplishes several critical functions:

• Wad Stabilization: The outward angle creates a sharp forward inside edge that grabs, stabilizes, and slows the wad, promoting faster separation from the shot column
• Cleaner Patterns: By reducing wad interference, you get tighter, more uniform patterns without the fouling that plagues other ported designs
• Reduced Recoil: The port design measurably reduces muzzle jump and felt recoil, enabling faster, more accurate follow-up shots
• Shooter Comfort: The 135-degree angle significantly reduces side blast—a major advantage in close-quarters hunting situations like duck blinds and trap fields

Field-Proven Performance

The Gobblin' Thunder has earned its reputation through competition success, including multiple NWTF still target shoot victories and Ladies Open Competition wins. It's the choice of serious turkey hunters who demand results.

Practical Installation

The external ported section extends approximately 1¾" from the muzzle and remains unobtrusive during shooting. This choke easily converts most factory-threaded 10 and 12 gauge barrels into dedicated turkey hunting tools.
